Public Reporting Outcomes
The purpose of the Cancer Prevention Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is to educate the community on the benefits of screening and early detection for the most common types of cancers. Most important is to identify and optimize care for those patients who are at increased risk for developing malignancies as determined by genetic evaluation.
Posted here is a list of the educational seminars, informational programs, outreach sessions, and community events hosted by our Cancer Program in 2018 to accomplish our stated purpose, that is, to educate the communities of Queens about cancer screening and detection.
