Stunning images capturing the beauty of the Hudson River will be on display at NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital starting May 13 when NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital exhibits of the works of Peekskill photographer Joseph Squillante as part of its "Art for Health" program.

In 2005, the Cortlandt Manor-based Hospital established what was to become a national trend, a “No Wait” Emergency Department in which patients are evaluated quickly for care and treatment, and bedside registration is offered.

The Chef Peter X. Kelly Teaching Kitchen at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is proud of its program, Young Chefs of the Hudson Valley, designed especially for children. For 10 weeks, from late January through April, a chef, dieticians and staff work with students, ages 11 to 13, from local schools, to teach about healthy eating. Increased nutrition awareness is one of the factors that can curb childhood obesity.

The 6th Annual Wine and Dine Around the World fundraiser of NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital tonight drew more than 380 guests who enjoyed a special culinary experience and, along with sponsors and supporters, raised a record-breaking sum of more than $85,000 for the benefit of the Hospital’s Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Ashikari Breast Center Fund.

NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital raised more than $200,000 on June 7 th at its 39 th Annual Golf Tournament, held under sunny skies at the majestic Hudson National Golf Club in Croton-on-Hudson.
