Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Training Program

Our residency program features a rigorous curriculum that covers all areas of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Trainees will receive clinical and career mentorship from top-tier faculty across PM&R subspecialties and gain unique experiences at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Weil Cornell Medicine as well as institutions such as Blythedale Children’s Hospital, Helen Hayes Hospital, Hospital for Special Surgery, James J. Peters VA Hospital, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Pediatric Rehabilitation Fellowship

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center offers a two-year Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellowship in collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, NY. This clinical curriculum includes inpatient care, acute hospital consultation, outpatient care, and training in procedures for spasticity management.

Sports Medicine Fellowship

During this comprehensive, one-year program, fellows can gain unique experiences in sports medicine and musculoskeletal care through Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medicine, NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, and St. Johns Athletics. Fellows may pursue one of two parallel program tracks—the Columbia/Weill Cornell Medicine track or the Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian Queens track.

Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine (ISMM) Fellowship

The goal of this fellowship is to provide well-rounded training in musculoskeletal and spine medical practices. By incorporating up-to-date knowledge, the application of advanced interventional & minimally invasive procedures, and multidisciplinary care modalities, fellows will be prepared to treat advanced musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions and collaborate care between disciplines.
