Welcome to the New York Presbyterian Queens (NYPQ) Emergency Medicine Residency, the premier Emergency Medicine residency in Queens. Nestled in the heart of New York, we offer one of the most robust, comprehensive training experiences in the country. Our unique Emergency Department offers trainees the opportunity to treat a wide spectrum of patients from all walks of life in the most ethnically diverse county in the nation. Given the diversity of our patients, NYPQ residents have the benefit of frontline experience with a wide range of pathology not available at other training sites. Our graduates gain the experience and expertise to manage the most challenging cases that present to an emergency department and ultimately are able to tackle any case that comes through the doors.
