About the Center for Eating Disorders

The Inpatient Program

The inpatient program offers a highly structured environment to support individuals in their recovery from eating disorders. Our comprehensive approach includes thorough diagnostic evaluations and developmentally appropriate treatments for patients of all genders, both adolescents and adults. The program features individual and group psychotherapy, family therapy, accredited schooling, therapeutic recreational activities, and a focus on behavioral goals to optimize health and weight.

For more information or to make a referral, please contact the psychiatry access line at: 888-694-5700.

We have expertise in treating specialty populations, including LGBTQIA+ populations. We also work with patients who have co-occurring illnesses such as anxiety and depression.

The Partial Hospital Program

The partial hospital program provides short-term, evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing acute symptoms of an eating disorder. This Monday – Friday, in-person program offers supported meals (breakfast, lunch, and a snack) and group therapies focused on recovery including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) specifically tailored for eating disorders.

In addition to group activities, patients work with an individual primary therapist and psychiatrist and receive nutritional planning with a registered dietitian. The program emphasizes behavioral goals to optimize health and weight. Family involvement is encouraged, with opportunities for family work to support the recovery process.

Our team collaborates with patients to understand and modify their behaviors, creating individualized treatment and nutritional plans. Designed for adults of all genders, the program includes meal process discussions, nutritional counseling, pharmacotherapy, and follow-up care. We accept managed care plans, other health insurance programs, Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay.
