Vascular and Endovascular Surgery
The combination of cardiology, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery in a collaborative environment allows us to safely and effectively care for patients that would otherwise be declined for treatment. Through our affiliation with Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, we are able to provide the most effective vascular and endovascular therapies.
Our state-of-the-art hybrid interventional operating room allows us to offer minimally invasive treatments that help speed patient recovery. We benchmark our open surgical outcomes using the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS-NSQIP), and our results rival those of academic medical centers in the region. Our multidisciplinary and collaborative approach leads to individualized treatment plans resulting in the best outcomes possible.
Transforming vascular care with cutting-edge techniques and technology
Our innovative techniques and imaging tools, combined with our collaborative approach to treating myriad complex conditions including thoracic aortic aneurysms and critical limb ischemia, offer patients the opportunity for superior outcomes. Our state-of-the-art interventional hybrid operating room (HOR) allows our surgeons the flexibility of performing the most advanced endovascular procedures with the latest imaging technology in a fully functional operating room environment.
We were the first hospital in Queens to perform a Fenestrated Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair for juxtarenal aortic aneurysms, branched iliac technology for iliac aneurysms, and we continue to offer the most modern endovascular therapies in Queens.
