NewYork-Presbyterian Queens to Host Prevent Cancer Super Colon® at Queens Center Mall
Interactive Walk Through Super Colon® To Be Displayed Saturday, March 25

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month and NewYork-Presbyterian Queens will host the Prevent Cancer Super Colon® exhibit on Saturday, March 25 at the Queens Center Mall. The Super Colon® is “an interactive walk-through exhibit traveling to communities all across America with the message that colorectal cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable!”
According to the Prevent Cancer Foundation®, colorectal cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cancer killer in the United States. NewYork-Presbyterian Queens will spearhead a borough wide colon cancer awareness campaign to educate the public, raise community awareness and promote access to colon cancer screening.
NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is the lead administrator for the New York State Department of Health Cancer Service Program of Queens and proudly serves one of the most diverse communities in the United States.
