A total of 267 physicians from NewYork-Presbyterian—more than any other hospital in the tri-state area— have been recognized as among the best doctors in the New York metropolitan region in this year’s edition of New York Magazine’s “Best Doctors” issue.
“NewYork-Presbyterian is proud to have so many of our doctors recognized as among the best in the region,” said Dr. Steven J. Corwin, president and CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian. “Our world-class physicians perform groundbreaking research and provide high-quality compassionate care in every area of medicine. This recognition is a testament to their outstanding work.”
The physicians represent 63 adult and pediatric specialties and were selected through a peer-nomination process.
New York Magazine compiles its “Best Doctors” list using Castle Connolly’s book, Top Doctors: New York Metro Area, adjusting for factors including geographic balance to better reflect the magazine’s readership.
