Joseph Angeletti, Jr., a development specialist with 20 years of experience at leading non-profit institutions, has been appointed Campaign Director at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. In this position, Mr. Angeletti will oversee a major fundraising drive aimed at enhancing clinical care programs and supporting the Hospital's commitment to providing the highest quality patient care. He will report to Larry Schafer, Vice President of Development.

This is a challenging period for hospitals, and the role of philanthropy has never been more important in enabling us to meet the current and future health care needs of our patients, said Dr. Herbert Pardes, President and CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Mr. Angeletti's depth of experience as a development professional will be key to our fundraising efforts and will help make possible investments and improvements that will have a significant impact on patient care.

Larry Schafer added, I'm pleased to welcome Joseph Angeletti to our Development team. His extensive experience in the management and implementation of major fundraising initiatives will be key as we enter a new and exciting phase in our fundraising efforts on behalf of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

In his new position, Mr. Angeletti will work closely with Eileen Willner, Executive Director of Development, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center, and Clyde Jones, Director of Development for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical College.

Prior to joining NewYork-Presbyterian, Mr. Angeletti served as Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Under his supervision, the university experienced significant increases in philanthropic support and alumni giving participation. Mr. Angeletti has also held positions as Director of Alumni Development for University of Pennsylvania and Senior Development Officer at Yale University. He began his career as Associate Director of the Annual Fund at Choate Rosemary Hall. Mr. Angeletti holds a B.A. in psychology and education from Lake Forest College of Illinois.
