“We are proud that Crain’s has recognized these exceptional leaders across disciplines for their extraordinary contributions to our patients, staff and the communities we serve,” said Dr. Steven J. Under Dr. Forese’s leadership, NewYork-Presbyterian has launched a number of groundbreaking initiatives to strengthen the Hospital’s clinical leadership.
The list of “Notable Women in Health Care” highlights the careers of 100 female health care leaders in New York City.
Nominations for the list came from a spectrum of healthcare organizations, from hospitals and nonprofits to medical colleges and healthcare groups in the New York City metropolitan area. The finalists were selected by a Crain’s editorial team, based on a combination of professional achievements, community service, track record of mentoring others, and promotion of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
