Girl Scouts Donate Baby Gear to Hudson Valley Hospital

Cortlandt Manor, NY
NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital’s Maternity Department got a special delivery on June 17, but not the usual kind.
The Girl Scout Community of Bronxville delivered baby supplies to the Maternity and Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit collected at the Community of Bronxville annual Charity fundraiser on June 9. Mary Massa, Bronxville Girl Scout Community Chair, organized the event, which ended in a cowgirl themed party.
This year, NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital was selected as one of the three charities to benefit. Girl Scout Troop #1507 in Bronxville collected the diapers, infant clothing and other supplies and delivered them to the Maternity Department.
"Thank you to the Girl Scouts for thinking of us and of the families who will benefit from their generosity," said Sabrina Nitkowski-Keever, Director of Maternal Child Health at HVHC. "They and their leaders deserve a lot of credit for their efforts."
