New York Methodist Hospital offers a free breastfeeding support group. This group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Breastfeeding Support Group focuses on providing encouragement and information for mothers and their newborns, from birth to three months old. A certified lactation consultant leads the group. The meetings take place in the Hospital's Wesley House, Rooms 3K-C, located at 501 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn. New York Methodist Hospital offers a free cancer support group open to individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. The Cancer Support Group will meet on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Hospital's Wesley House, Room 6A, located at 501 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn. New York Methodist Hospital hosts several free support groups for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
- The Parkinson's Wellness and Exercise Yoga Class will take place on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Hospital's Wesley House, Room 6A-6B, located at 501 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn.
- The Parkinson's Wellness and Exercise Dance Class will take place on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Hospital's Wesley House, Room 6A-6B, located at 501 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn.
- The Parkinson's Disease Patient Support Group will take place on Thursday, December 17, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Hospital's Executive Dining Room located at 506 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn.
- The Parkinson's Caregivers Support Group will take place on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Hospital's Wesley House, Room 6B, located at 501 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn.

New York Methodist Hospital offers a free support group to give patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) tools for managing stress. Mind/Body Methods for Managing MS Stress will meet on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Hospital's Buckley 8 Conference Room located at 506 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn. New York Methodist Hospital offers a free awareness group for patients who have experienced brain aneurysms or subarachnoid hemorrhages (SAH) which can lead to stroke. The Brain Aneurysm Support Group will meet on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Executive Dining Room, located at 506 Sixth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn. This month join Irwin Grosman, M.D., Associate Chief of NYM's Division of Gastroenterology, for Go with Your Gut. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Occidental Room of the Brooklyn College Student Center located on the fifth floor at East 27th Street and Campus Road.
