Our Maternal & Newborn Care Unit has been designed to enhance the care and comfort of expectant moms and their newborns and provide the best patient experience before, during, and after childbirth.

We are certified as a Baby-Friendly USA hospital for our support of mothers who choose to breastfeed their babies, which means all babies room-in with their mothers. Additionally, as a certified Silver Safe Sleep hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley offers education to enforce positioning for safe sleeping. 

Patients can access resources and update their birth plans using the NYP Connect app.
