Cold-Injured Skin

Cold injury to the skin may cause:

  • Severe pain.
  • Numbness, tingling, or a prickly feeling.
  • Hard, stiff, shiny, or rubbery skin.
  • Cold, pale, white, pink-purple, or blue-gray skin.
  • Blisters or sores.
