U.S. News & World Report recognizes NYP for its excellence in numerous specialties
NewYork-Presbyterian is proud to once again be named one of the best hospitals in the nation and a top hospital in New York by U.S. News & World Report. This is the 21st year in a row that the Hospital has been named among the top hospitals in the nation.
NewYork-Presbyterian ranks among the top five nationwide in seven specialties: cardiology, heart & vascular surgery (No. 5); neurology and neurosurgery (No. 4); orthopedics (No. 4); psychiatry (No. 3); diabetes and endocrinology (No. 2); urology (No. 2); and rheumatology (No. 3), a collaborative program with Hospital for Special Surgery. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, which has leading experts in every area of medicine, ranked in the top 20 in 14 of 15 specialties, more than any other hospital in New York.
The powerful collaboration between our esteemed academic medical partners, Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, further ensures that all patients have access to leading physicians and the latest innovations in care, groundbreaking research and clinical trials, and cutting-edge medical specialties.
NewYork-Presbyterian is also proud to be the only Top 10 U.S. News & World Report academic medical center to achieve Epic Gold Stars 10, a measure of the hospital's use of the Epic system to improve patient access, patient experience, clinical quality and safety, and more.
These accomplishments and more would not be possible without philanthropy. The generosity of our donors provides foundational support for NewYork-Presbyterian as one of the nation’s most comprehensive, integrated academic healthcare systems, encompassing hundreds of primary and specialty care clinics and medical groups, multiple highly specialized campuses, and an array of telemedicine services.
