On October 16, NYP's annual Amazing Kids Amazing Care Dinner to benefit NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital raised nearly $1 million. These critical funds will enable comprehensive pediatric care. Dr. Jordan S. Orange, Physician-In-Chief of NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and the Chair of Pediatrics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, spoke about GUARDIAN, an incredible newborn screening program that needs the support of our partners to continue.

Kevin Sheehan, Head of Treasury and Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley Corporate Treasury, introduced a tribute to Drew Ertman, a Senior Advisor on the Morgan Stanley Debt Capital Markets team, whose Comedy Night has raised more than $4 million for the hospital. The evening also showcased musical performances from the Washington Heights Choir School and Hell or High Water.

At NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, caring for the youngest and most vulnerable patients, including many who have been turned away from hospitals that consider their cases too complex. Sixty percent are uninsured or on Medicaid in a neighborhood where one in five families live below the poverty line. Hundreds of thousands of parents throughout Northern Manhattan, New York City, the tri-state area, across the country, and beyond have brought their children to NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley for the expertise, compassion, family-centered care, and medical leadership that have defined the institution. With philanthropic support, the hospital continues to fulfill its mission of providing them all with best-in-class care, regardless of their ability to pay.
