About Leukemia Fighters
Leukemia Fighters at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell is devoted to the clinical and translational research projects of the Weill Cornell Leukemia Program.
Gail J. Roboz, M.D., Professor of Medicine and Director of the Leukemia Program, created Leukemia Fighters in collaboration with grateful patients and their families who were interested in making contributions for new and ongoing projects directed by their doctors.
Donations to Leukemia Fighters are allocated by Dr. Roboz and her colleagues for clinical and research projects involving malignant bone marrow diseases: acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, chronic myeloid leukemia and myeloproliferative disorders.
How to Give to Leukemia Fighters
Patients and their families may direct donations to specific areas of study and have already seen the results of their generosity with the funding of new positions and projects.
Dr. Roboz will be happy to discuss the Leukemia Program's many exciting initiatives with prospective and current donors, and can be reached at 646-962-2700.
