Dental Implants
A dental implant serves as a new root used to replace a missing tooth. It is a titanium screw that is placed into the jaw bone. An abutment and crown is then placed on the implant to provide a new tooth that is permanent and resembles a natural tooth.
The entire process is normally performed over the course of a few months and with proper care the results can last a lifetime. The benefits are similar to the benefits of natural teeth - both functionally and cosmetically.
