Rotation Schedule
PGY-I
- Team A: three to four months of general surgery, including head and neck, pediatric, reconstructive and bariatric surgery.
- Team B: three to four months of general surgery, including thoracic surgery and vascular surgery.
- Team C: three to four months of general surgery, including trauma.
- Vacation: one month.
PGY-II
- Team A: four to six weeks of general surgery, including head and neck, pediatric, reconstructive and bariatric surgery.
- Team B: four to six weeks of general surgery, including thoracic surgery and vascular surgery.
- Team C: four to six weeks of general surgery, including trauma.
- Surgical Critical Care: six months.
- Vacation: one month.
PGY-III
- Team A: three months of general surgery, including head and neck, pediatric, reconstructive and bariatric surgery.
- Team B: two months of general surgery, including thoracic and vascular surgery.
- Team C: two and a half months of general surgery, including trauma, endoscopy, vascular laboratory and radiology.
- Transplantation: one month at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
- Vacation: one month.
PGY-IV
- Team A: three and a half months of general surgery, including head and neck, pediatric, reconstructive and bariatric surgery.
- Team B: three and a half months general surgery, including thoracic and vascular surgery.
- Team C: four months of general surgery including trauma.
- Vacation: one month.
PGY-V
- Team A: three months and three weeks of general surgery, including head and neck, pediatric, reconstructive and bariatric surgery.
- Team B: three months and three weeks of general surgery, including thoracic surgery and vascular surgery.
- Team C: three months and three weeks of general surgery including trauma.
- Vacation: one month.
