Center for Community Health at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital
Set in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, the Center for Community Health offers unprecedented access to multidisciplinary care for digestive and liver disorders. Completed in 2021, it is the largest ambulatory facility in Brooklyn, with 400,000 square feet of clinical space.
A State-of-the-Art Facility
The Center for Community Health features a gastroenterology suite with six fully equipped endoscopy procedure rooms, a special procedure room, and a large pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure recovery unit. Sharing the same floor is an office suite with eight examination rooms, two consultation rooms and a spacious waiting area.
The facility also contains a full-service radiology imaging center, a cancer center with an infusion unit, 12 operating rooms dedicated to same-day surgeries, six suites for special procedures, and a women’s health center.
Sustainability at the Center for Community Health
New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital’s Center for Community Health has achieved LEED Silver Certification® under the US Green Building Design Council for its energy efficiency and environmental design. By adopting sustainable practices and limiting the environmental impact of our operations, the aim is to create a healthier environment for patients, their families, and our staff.
