Clinical Services
Women's Health
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is at the forefront of women's healthcare, offering a more personal and complete approach to well-being through two dedicated women's healthcare centers, the Iris Cantor Women's Health Center (associated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center) and The Center for Women's Health (located at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center).
The Iris Cantor Women's Health Center is staffed by specialists in all areas of women's health with a special emphasis on preventive medicine, nutrition, breast cancer, osteoporosis, menopause, and infectious disease. The Center for Women's Health has an equally exceptional medical staff, who are expert in over 15 medical subspecialities.
In addition to the full range of medical services to address conditions affecting women, both centers also provide information on wellness, educational resources on numerous heath-care issues, emotional and social support, and nutritional and exercise guidance.
NewYork-Presbyterian also offers extensive services in reproductive medicine and the treatment of infertility. The Center for Women's Reproductive Care at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia, the first such program in the New York area, is a national leader in treating women over the age of 40. The Center for Reproductive Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell treats more than 1200 couples annually with success rates double the national average.
Both NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell and NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia also have comprehensive Breast Centers, dedicated to the treatment of breast diseases.
