Heart Failure Research Institute
The Heart Failure Research Institute at NewYork-Presbyterian, in collaboration with Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is committed to improving the lives of those affected by heart failure.
Our mission is two-fold:
- To advance the understanding, prevention, and treatment of heart failure through research
- To develop the next generation of scholars in the field
Scholars Program & Grants
In line with this goal, we offer opportunities for both employees and external scholars to engage in meaningful projects that will help bring heart failure research to the cutting edge.
The Heart Failure Research Institute will select up to two full-time scholars each academic year who will engage in research overseen by a faculty mentor. We will also award three research grants for internal applicants starting in spring 2024.
