At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center, the Department of Psychiatry features renowned experts who apply the latest information and the best traditions of compassionate medicine to the care of individuals suffering from mental illness and emotional problems. The Department provides a wide range of services for adults, adolescents, and children. This includes state-of-the art care at a variety of fee arrangements, including managed care insurance, Medicare, clinics, reduced self-pay fees, and private deluxe treatment.
The Department of Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center is a national resource for patient care, research, and teaching. It has two major facilities: The Payne Whitney Clinic in Manhattan and the Westchester Division in White Plains, New York. Its mission is to provide outstanding behavioral healthcare, to spearhead research that will further our understanding of the mind and the treatment of mental illness, and to educate and train future behavioral healthcare professionals.
