Pediatrics
Each year, thousands of parents from the New York tri-state area and throughout the world bring their children – from infants to adolescents – to Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian and to the Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children's Health, where we offer the expertise, compassion, and medical leadership that has defined and guided NewYork-Presbyterian for more than a century.
U.S.News & World Report recognizes the outstanding level of care that we provide to each and every one of our young patients. In 2008, NewYork-Presbyterian was the only hospital in the New York tri-state area to rank in all clinical areas. The hospitals that were ranked among the best perform a high volume of complex procedures, adhere closely to advanced treatment guidelines, incorporate new findings into patient care, and conduct research that offers severely ill patients more options. [More about our ranking]
In addition to our world-class pediatric care, we are one of the world's major centers for basic and clinical pediatric research. Through our active research program, we have made extraordinary contributions to the understanding of childhood diseases and the development of measures for prevention and treatment.
To ensure that pediatric patients in the tri-state region have access to the diagnostic and treatment programs of Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian and the Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children's Health, we formed a partnership with 16 hospitals throughout the region. These members are part of the Children's Healthcare System of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
