Counseling
and Support Services
DOVE
social workers provide short term crisis intervention, individual and family
counseling and support groups. We help in dealing with the police and the
district attorney's office for survivors who want this type of assistance. We
can assist with reimbursement for expenses you incur for reported criminal acts
(i.e. hospital bills, transportation, lost wages, and other losses) via the New
York State Crime Victims Board.
You
can also receive counseling support by telephone. Our fully bilingual staff
provide all these services in both English and Spanish.
All
of our services are confidential and completely free of charge.
