Promote excellence when it matters most.
It takes an integrated team of dedicated experts to care for critically ill patients. As a Critical Care Connection volunteer you will be responsible for a variety of activities that promote excellence in patient care and education. With the support and leadership of the clinical director of the ICU, nurse manager, chaplains, and patient representatives, you will be a key player as you interact with patients, their families, physicians, and nurses.
We would love to hear from you if you are mature, friendly, supportive, an attentive listener, an effective communicator, able to remain calm during stressful situations, have patient care experience.
Minimum Commitment: Two four- hour shifts per week for a total of six months and 150 hours.
Times: Seven days a week, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
