Joe walked into the NewYork-Presbyterian emergency room feeling sick and disoriented. He collapsed a minute later after suffering cardiac arrest. His heart stopped beating for 47 minutes. The emergency department team went into action under the direction of Dr. Sharma and Dr. Gaudio. They never stopped working on Joe.
