The success of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is evidenced by its recognition by national publications and other groups who rank the country's top doctors and healthcare facilities. We have also been recognized for our leadership in health-related web site design and innovation.

We are proud to include the following awards of distinction and recognition of excellence:

  • 2011 ENERGY STAR Award for Sustained Excellence in Energy Management. The Hospital has been awarded the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) ENERGY STAR Award for Sustained Excellence in Energy Management. The award recognizes the Hospital's efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency. This is the sixth EPA award for NewYork-Presbyterian – more than any other hospital in the country. More
  • U.S.News & World Report's Honor Roll of America's Best Hospitals. A part of the Honor Roll since 1999, in 2011-2012 NewYork-Presbyterian once again was included among America's Best Hospitals. More
  • Time 100. Joining such luminaries as the Dalai Lama, Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Steve Jobs, two of our physician–scientists – Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Nicholas Schiff – have been named to Time 100, Time Magazines annual list of the top 100 most influential people in the world. More
  • America's Top Doctors. The annual survey is conducted by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. and published in America's Top Doctors. In 2011, more physicians from NewYork-Presbyterian were named to America's Top Doctors than from any other hospital in the nation. More
  • New York Magazine's 2011 Best Doctors. Of the 1,144 top doctors listed by the Magazine, 191 are NewYork-Presbyterian physicians More
