Spotlight: The STEM Alliance
NewYork-Presbyterian is excited to support The STEM Alliance, a non-profit aimed at expanding access to learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for students and adults in Westchester.
A recipient of an NYP Community Fund grant, The STEM Alliance offers device access, internet services, and digital skills training to low- and moderate-income residents across the county and works to advance digital literacy for all. Through our partnership, NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester also offered 30 middle school students from The STEM Alliance’s Mosaic Innovation Camp an opportunity to learn about careers in emergency room medicine, respiratory care, and ultrasound technology.
