January is Cervical Health Awareness Month, and two amazing NewYork-Presbyterian doctors are helping advance the treatment of cervical cancer for patients on our campuses and beyond. Eloise Chapman-Davis, MD, FACOG, and Denise Howard, MD, MPH, are two expert clinicians on the forefront of women's medicine and have authored an insightful piece for CNN exploring how deliberate investment and innovation in women's healthcare could radically transform the lives of those suffering from cervical cancer. The recipient of last year's CHANEL Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Chapman-Davis is the Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Howard is chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology as well as a vice chair in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine. She was a featured speaker in last year’s NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Insider Briefing focused on full spectrum of women’s health services through the Women’s Health and Reproductive Medicine Center at the NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Center for Community Health.
