Nephrology

The Division of Nephrology is committed to achieving excellence in teaching, research and the delivery of high quality nephrology services. The division provides an entire range of ambulatory and inpatient consultation and dialysis services. It specializes in all aspects of clinical nephrology including the evaluation and treatment of resistant hypertension and renal stones.

Outpatient dialysis services are provided in the Trude Weishaupt Satellite Dialysis Center. 

The faculty actively participates in clinical research studies that explore aspects of dialysis adequacy, nutrition in ESRD patients, pre-ESRD and ESRD anemia and iron balance, and renal bone disease and metabolic disorders.
