Levels of Care

All new patients receive a comprehensive assessment of their condition and an individualized treatment plan from the doctors who will be helping them. From this point, they can choose the level of care they wish to undertake. We understand that some patients wish to keep working or going to school during treatment and we generally offer day or evening versions of therapies to fit their schedules. Most, but not all, levels of care are offered at all locations. The below chart will help guide you.

Levels of Care

Private Practice
Private Practice is what is generally thought of as a "doctor's appointment." Patients schedule appointments and meet with their therapist usually in his or her office.
Outpatient Clinic
Outpatient therapy is where patients come to appointments at a clinic to receive individual or group care from a therapist or group of therapists.
Day Program
Day Programs are where patients spent the day in therapy, but return to their homes and families each evening.
Partial Hospitalization
Partial Hospitalization is where patients receive therapy partially in a hospital setting. This is usually complemented with other types of therapy.
Inpatient
Inpatient therapy is where patients live at the location while receiving therapy.
Emergency
Emergency therapy is where patients live at a location while receiving therapy. This type of therapy generally involves supervision and restrictions because patients are in a state where they may cause harm to themselves or others.
