The
Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) provides state-of-the-art
medical and multidisciplinary care for critically ill patients
from a broad regional base. A full time social worker provides
services, such as crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment,
counseling, group support, and discharge planning to patients
and their families.Ê The social worker, Vicki Braunstein, CSW
is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information
