Cancer Care

The Cancer program provides comprehensive multidisciplinary state-of-the-art care. Two full-time social workers provide psychosocial services to patients and their families throughout the continuum of care.Ê Services are provided for patients receiving treatment for chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. In addition, a third social worker is dedicated to the Bone Marrow Transplant Service; this social worker also provides psychosocial care including preadmission services, and a post-transplant support group for patients and their families.Ê Social workers are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call Dory Hottenson, CSW at (212) 746-4347 or Sharida Khan, CSW at (212)746-4323.
