The William Randolph Hearst Burn Center is the largest and busiest Burn Center in the country. A multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive care to the burn-injured patient from pediatrics to geriatrics. Services are provided using a continuity of care model.
Two full-time social workers provide services such as crisis intervention, referral and liaison, health education,
psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, counseling, group support services and ambulatory follow up.
