The ACE unit is a 17-bed unit that provides a range of acute medical and psychosocial services in an environment specifically designed for older adults. A multidisciplinary team comprised of a dietician, geriatricians, nurses, a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, physical therapist and a social worker provides comprehensive services to geriatric patients and their families. The social worker, Lori Jacobson, MSW, is available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm at (212) 746-4325.
