The Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine of Weill Cornell Medical College
For over two decades, the physicians and staff of The Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) have been helping people from around the world to complete their families. Over 18,000 babies have been born as a result of in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles performed at CRM since 1989.
Though many of our patients have been treated unsuccessfully elsewhere, our world-renowned fertility experts have helped them to realize their dream of parenthood. One key to our high success rates is our emphasis on personalized medicine: We take the time to learn each patient’s unique story. This knowledge helps CRM’s doctors choose the most medically sound, cost-effective, and least-invasive treatment for every patient.
Our physicians are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise in all areas of reproductive medicine. In fact, CRM’s physicians and scientific experts developed many fertility treatments in use globally, and CRM is one of the leading reproductive medicine research centers in the world.
Our Treatments
In addition to basic infertility treatments and IVF, CRM offers:
- Preimplantation genetic diagnosis and screening (PGD and PGS)
- Minimally invasive and robotic fertility surgery
- IVF with endometrial cell co-culture (the use of cells from a woman’s uterus to support embryo development)
- Ovulation induction (OI) and intrauterine insemination (IUI)
- Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), where a single sperm is delivered directly into a woman's egg
- Egg donation
- Fertility preservation using cryopreservation techniques
Locations
CRM offers comprehensive fertility services at 1305 York Avenue in Manhattan. Our physicians also see patients at offices in Garden City, Long Island; Mount Kisco, Westchester County; and Flushing, Queens. Moreover, women who become pregnant using our services may choose to have their babies at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Health Insurance
CRM’s participation with several large managed-care health insurance plans helps make infertility treatment affordable. We also participate in the New York State Infertility Demonstration Program, which helps subsidize infertility treatment for patients who live in New York and who have limited or no insurance coverage for IVF treatment.
Male Infertility
Through our partnership with Weill Cornell’s Center for Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery, CRM offers comprehensive treatment of male infertility. The urologists at this center are world renowned for their pioneering work in the microsurgical repair of sperm obstructions and offer the most advanced fertility services designed specifically for men.Learn more about The Ronald O.
