The NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center campus is located in northern Manhattan.

The Department of Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center is preeminent among academic medical institutions in psychiatric research, education, and patient care. It is ranked among the best psychiatry services in the nation by U.S. News and World Report in its annual Best Hospitals survey. In addition, its clinicians also hold faculty positions at the Ivy League Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

The Department offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient programs for patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, college students, women, and the elderly. Therapists are sensitive to cultural differences. Also, patients and families also have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials to improve our knowledge of mental health and to optimize its treatment.
