Department of Pastoral Care & Education

Welcome to the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Department of Pastoral Care & Education. We attend to the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, families and staff. As part of the health-care team, our chaplains visit all units to provide counsel to patients and their loved ones and to consult with other staff on the health-care team. Furthermore, our chaplains are available to provide religious resources and to assist in keeping religious practices and observances. We are also available to those with no religious affiliation.
