Overview

Thank you for your interest in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, one of the most comprehensive health-care institutions in the world. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is the largest hospital in New York and was recently ranked as the number one hospital in New York and the number six hospital in the nation. Comprised of five campuses and nearly 2,400 patient beds, chaplains play an essential role in providing for the spiritual needs of a widely diverse population of patients and families from all religions and cultures. We serve patients who come from around the corner and around the world.

CPE programs include:

Full-Time Residency Program
Part-Time Extended Unit Internship
Full-Time Summer Unit Internship

All programs are accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
