NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is now offering an online Childbirth Education Program that provides a convenient alternative for parents-to-be who cannot attend conventional in-person classes due to bed rest, scheduling conflicts, or time constraints.
This web-based program uses animated illustrations, videos, voice-overs, and interactive activities to guide expectant parents through the basics of childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn baby care.
After registering, users will receive an access code for the online program via e-mail, and a program manual via postal mail. After accessing the online program for the first time, users will have 90 days to complete the program at their own pace.
