Leukemia Fighters Fund
The Leukemia Fighters Fund at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell is devoted to the clinical and translational research projects of the Weill Cornell Leukemia Program.
Gail J. Roboz, M.D., Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Leukemia Program, created the Fund in collaboration with grateful patients and their families who were interested in making contributions for new and ongoing projects directed by their doctors.
Donations are deposited directly into the Leukemia Fighters Fund and are allocated by Dr. Roboz and her colleagues for clinical and research projects involving malignant bone marrow diseases: acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, chronic myeloid leukemia and myeloproliferative disorders.
Patients and their families may direct donations to specific areas of study and have already seen the results of their generosity with the funding of new positions and projects.
Dr. Roboz will be happy to discuss the Leukemia Program's many exciting initiatives with prospective and current donors, and can be reached at 212-746-6736.
If you would like to make a contribution, please make checks payable to "Leukemia Fighters Fund / NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital", c/o Dr. Gail J. Roboz, 520 East 70th Street Starr 340A, New York, NY 10021.
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Tax ID number 13-3957095) and your gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Thank you for your interest and support.
