Ambulatory Care Network Community Programs

Information for Parents

Lang Youth values the role of parental involvement throughout each Scholar's six-year commitment to the program. Beginning with the application process, parents provide support by writing a personal statement and attending an interview. Throughout the program, parents have the opportunity to attend parent workshops as well as volunteer at various program events.

In addition, parents participate in high school and college preparation workshops in order to assist their Scholar in navigating the admissions process.

As Lang Youth Staff members work alongside parents, they are able to provide a network of support for Scholars throughout their six years in the program.
