Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)

All applicants for the Otolaryngology Residency program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital must participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the National Resident Match Program (NRMP). No additional materials are required other than a completed universal application.

Interviews

Every application designating the program will be reviewed by our Residency Review Committee upon receipt from ERAS. Approximately 40 applicants will be granted interviews. Interviews will be conducted on Tuesday, December 5th, Friday, December 8th, and Saturday, December 11th, 2009. The schedule will include interviewing with members of the teaching staff, meeting with our graduate staff, and touring the facilities.

Acceptance

Candidates matched for a residency position are automatically accepted for all five years of specialty training at NYPH (PGY 1-5). Each year four trainees are selected, for a total of twenty residents in the five year program.
