Anna-Christina Bevelaqua, MD, FAAPMR, is an assistant professor in rehabilitation medicine at Columbia University Medical Center's Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine. She specializes in treating patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal and sports related injuries.

Dr. Bevelaqua received her undergraduate degree from The College of William and Mary and her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She underwent her physical medicine and rehabilitation training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital where she served as Chief Resident for her final year. She went on to pursue a fellowship in sports and spine medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Bevelaqua is board certified in both physical medicine and rehabilitation sports medicine Her areas of clinical interest include sports injury prevention, overuse injuries, concussion management, running injuries, and treating female athletes. Dr Bevelaqua believes in a multidisciplinary, non-operative approach to treating musculoskeletal problems.
