Paid Participants Needed for a Research Study
Seeking male and female active smokers, former smokers, and people who have never smoked, who are 18-75 years old and in generally good health, to participate in a research study at Weill Cornell Medical College/ New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the role of smoking on inflammatory cells and markers in oral mucosa.
Participation involves a brief screening interview/questionnaire and a small oral biopsy (of the cheek lining) with local anesthesia
Eligible volunteers will be compensated after completion of all portions of the study.
