Healthy Trail Mix with Dried Apples

Recipe Yield: 8 servings
2 cups cinnamon-flavored rice or wheat cereal
1 cup chocolate-flavored rice or wheat cereal
1 cup dried apples/apple rings (or any dried fruit)
1 cup mini low-salt pretzel twists
1 cup vanilla yogurt covered raisins
1/2 cup peanuts or walnuts (optional)
- Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
- Store the trail mix in a large airtight container in a cool, dry location to maintain freshness or separate into snack-size resealable bags for easy portability.
