How concerned should we be with having our child go under anesthesia?
We have one of the best-dedicated pediatric anesthesia departments in the city. They care for over 2500 pediatric patients a year and all are fellowship trained in pediatric anesthesia. Many are board certified pediatricians as well as anesthesiologists. They strive to provide the most up to date, safe and optimal conditions for your child during surgery and to make the entire surgical experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible.


How difficult is the recovery?
Depending on the procedure, the majority of the children, regardless of their age, do extremely well in terms of returning to their normal activities without discomfort within 1-2 days. In fact, most of the children go home on Tylenol.
