Referring a Patient


The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine welcomes referrals from pediatricians, community physicians, and schools for all children under the age of 21 who need further evaluation and/or treatment. Referring physicians are encouraged to contact us by phone at (212) 746-3300 to provide information about their patients and to leave a contact number at which they can be reached after the patient has been evaluated. Patients may be sent to the Emergency Department by any mode of transport deemed appropriate by the physician.
