Overview

Each year, the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Center for Children’s Health provides treatment for more than 1,000 children with a wide range of congenital and acquired blood disorders and cancers. The Division’s Pediatric Oncology Program diagnoses and treats infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with:

  • leukemias
  • lymphomas
  • sarcomas
  • Hodgkin's disease
  • Wilms' tumor
  • neuroblastoma
  • osteogenic sarcoma

The Division’s team of pediatric specialists includes internationally renowned physicians and a staff of dedicated administrators, nurses, social workers, genetic counselors, technicians and post-doctoral fellows. The Division offers disease-specific programs, supported by basic and clinical research, to improve the management and understanding of these childhood cancers.
